Description
The home-themed playhouse will attract toddlers again and again. The scale of the house is perfect for toddlers. The openness over the desk adds to the overall transparency, and children can play together from the outside and the inside of the house. Having a meeting point like the house allows for social interaction and the desk and bench inspire dramatic play, such as home and shop. Themes like these, which young children recognise, set a frame for mimicking and elaborating on social interaction, training children's understanding of the world. The dramatic play trains communication, language skills and social skills such as negotiation and empathy. The ground level play makes it possible for all children to play here.
