Description
Rocking in big groups is a highly appealing activity which invite children to play together. The colour contrasts of the seesaw, with the yellow handles, are helpful to users with difficulties seeing. The spacious platform and seats of the Inclusive Multi Seesaw, along with the sturdy back and foot support, support children of all abilities in play. The open sides ease access for children with difficulties moving, and the side bars support their seated position. The wide seats allow caretakers to support play. The handle on the rear of the seats invites play and social interaction for children who are not comfortable with or able to use the seats of the platform of the seesaw. The rocking movement, apart from being great fun, develops the sense of balance, the proprioception and strength of users, regardless of whether they are playing on the seesaw lying, seated or standing on the platform. These skills help children navigate the surroundings securely and builds confidence in moving. This confidence is crucial also for children's self-confidence and their capacity for social interaction.
