Description
The Barn with its farm themed illustrations is a fabulous dramatic and physical play unit for all younger children. The variety of manipulative and fun physical activities on each level supports dramatic play scenarios. Varied climbing, crawling, swaying and sliding activities attract children and ensure physical activity that trains important motor skills and major muscles. Inclined net and stair entryways make for a secure, yet fun access to the unit while training cross-coordination, building body confidence and ultimately stimulateing cross-modal perception. The slide and double slide vary the choice of descent. And on ground level, a desk and hammock under the platform make for an attractive gathering point, supporting children's social-emotional skills. Dramatic play is a favorite play type for younger children, and in the case of the Barn, storytelling themes of house, farm and production can be enjoyed time after time.
