Description
Unpitched Percussion One of Percussion Play's most popular instruments, the Rainbow Sambas bring color, rhythm, and social interaction to outdoor spaces through a vibrant collection of five easy-to-play drums. With their welcoming appearance and satisfying sounds, they encourage people of all ages and abilities to come together to create rhythms, explore musical ideas, and enjoy making music outdoors. Played with the hands, the Rainbow Sambas produce soft, expressive percussion sounds that are rewarding for beginners yet engaging enough for more experienced players. Their intuitive design makes them ideal for spontaneous music-making, whether in a playground, community space, sensory garden, library, school, or senior living environment. Available in standard rainbow colors or customized to suit a project's color scheme via the RAL color-matching service, the Rainbow Sambas create both a visual and a musical focal point. Their bright appearance naturally draws people in, making them popular as interactive landmarks within parks, pathways, gardens, and public spaces. Whether used for music education, sensory exploration, community events, or simply creative outdoor play, the Rainbow Sambas encourage collaboration, confidence, and connection through rhythm. Their circular arrangement naturally invites people to gather, listen, respond, and create music together, making them a popular choice for intergenerational and community-focused spaces.
