Description
Talk Tubes transform communication into an adventure, allowing children and adults to talk, sing, whisper, and listen across surprising distances. A long-time playground favorite, this interactive sound-transmission system combines fun, learning, and discovery while demonstrating the fascinating science of sound. Using durable underground tubing and stainless-steel sound cones, Talk Tubes carry voices clearly from one location to another, encouraging curiosity and exploration. Whether exchanging secret messages, creating imaginative games, or simply discovering how sound travels, users gain a hands-on understanding of communication, acoustics, and cause and effect. Supplied with 12 meters (40 feet) of tubing as standard, Talk Tubes can be adapted to suit a wide variety of layouts. Optional extension kits allow the system to be expanded up to 50 meters (160 feet), making it ideal for larger playgrounds, sensory trails, discovery parks, learning environments, and community spaces. More than just a playground feature, Talk Tubes support language development, listening skills, social interaction, and cooperative play. Their inclusive design, with sound cones positioned at different heights, allows users of varying ages and abilities to participate comfortably. Popular in playgrounds, sensory trails, museums, discovery spaces, schools, and outdoor learning environments, Talk Tubes encourage people to connect, communicate, and explore the world of sound together.
