C Major Pentatonic (A3-C5) The Tubular Bells are a bold and visually impressive outdoor musical installation that combines architectural presence with powerful sound. This set of seven towering aluminum bells produces deep, resonant tones that can be felt as well as heard, creating an engaging sensory experience for players and listeners alike. Supplied with large tethered mallets, the Tubular Bells generate powerful vibrations that travel through the instrument and into the surrounding environment. When arranged in a horseshoe formation, visitors can stand or position a wheelchair within the center of the installation to become surrounded by sound and vibration, creating a uniquely immersive and inclusive experience. Combining musical interaction with striking sculptural design, the Tubular Bells function equally well as a musical instrument and a piece of playable public art.
