What should you look for in a playground cubby house?
It depends on the age group and supervision. Low, open cubbies with clear sight lines suit early learning and parks where carers need to see in. Themed pieces (shops, vehicles, boats) encourage imaginative play. Look at the published materials, especially for timber, and at the age range each product states.
Compare each product's published fall height, impact area and age range before you plan the space, and have the final layout checked by a qualified playground designer or inspector.
